The Digital Antiracisms has developed, or is in the process of developing, a number of specific research projects on the ways in which racism is being tackled online and through the use of digital technologies. Our focus is collaborative, engaging with activists, content producers and developers to interrogate the changing meanings of race and the response to racism in digital spaces.
There are three main research projects:
– Antiracism Apps: Models, Approaches and Uses of Mobile Media for Education Against Racism
– Online Antiracism: Assessing the Impact of #BlackLivesMatter in Australian Digital Communication Networks
– Digital Antiracisms in a Trasnational Context (international collaborative research project under development)
